Nestled in the hills conveniently between Rome and Naples, there is a quaint medieval town named Patrica. The town where my father was born. I was fortunate enough to come back with him decades later to see first-hand everything he recounted to me about his boyhood home. It was a life changing opportunity I was privileged enough to experience.
This program was born out of my passion for Italy and the language, as well as good fortune. My passion for the language and culture come from my heritage, as both sets of my grandparents were born in Italy, as well as my father. I have been very fortunate to reconnect with my ancestry and relatives still living in Italy experiencing it through them and in many non-touristy towns, seeing the "real" Italy and honing my own language skills the most fun and natural way possible. Not everyone is so fortunate to have these experiences, so I decided to recreate that for others!
This program is what I as a learner have always craved. The chance to soak in my surroundings and hone my language skills and practice my Italian in a natural and effortless setting. Spending the mornings in lessons to fine-tune my skills and the afternoons to let the Italian in me bloom. I'm so excited to bring this possibility and share what I have been fortunate enough to experience over the years, with all of you!

This is not a cookie-cutter program to capitalize on trendy tourism. In fact, we focus on untouristy places with hidden gems so as to appreciate the real Italy in this sub-region of Ciociaria.
This program comes from my genuine passion and roots in the area. I really am a student, my father really was born here and I really have a passion for my heritage and acclimating to Italy both in culture and language!
